Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin

Goody Simple Styles Spin Pins
Available at drugstores for about $7.

I was so happy to see these in my VoxBox, I had been wanting to try them since they came out but wasn't having any luck finding them where I live. So let me just start off by telling you that I have very long and thick hair. So getting all my hair into a nice neat bun is really a struggle. These spin pins really hold my hair in place and keep it nice and secure. It also blends in with your hair so people can't be distracted by whats holding your hair in place instead they just see the hair-do. If you have thick and long hair like me you might find that 2 of these pins may not be enough to put all of your hair up, but you can do some really cute half up half down styles. Overall I really like these pins and will be buying another set.

NYC New York Color IndividualEyes Custom Compact

NYC New York Color IndividualEyes Custom Compact

NYC has become a brand I have come to love so you can imagine I was excited when I opened my box and seen this palette. This palette includes a primer, illuminator, a highlight color, a light silver shade, dark grey contour color and a very dark grey definer shade. Let me just start with the one thing I don't like in this palette, the primer, it is just way to creamy and makes the shadows crease within an hour or less. The illuminator is ok but I prefer the other ones I own. The shadows are pigmented and are great for the classic smoky eye or you could ever do a more natural look with the lightest shades. These shadows can be a little chalky so be careful of fallout, I find doing my foundation last really makes things a lot easier tho.

Kiss Ever PRO Lash Starter Kit

Kiss Ever PRO Lash Starter Kit

Let me just start off by saying I wish I had had this kit when I first starting using fake lashes, this kit comes with everything you need and costs about the same as one pair of lashes from other brands. This kit includes one pair of lashes, glue and an applicator. The eyelashes are full and beautiful and they also look natural making it hard for people to really notice your wearing fake lashes. The applicator makes it so easy to apply the lashes, the applicator gives you more control and helps to get them as close to your lash-line as possible. Now the glue really surprised me, usually the glue that comes with lashes don't work very well. But this glue is great, it glides on the lashes evenly and dries to be clear. The glue holds up amazingly, the lashes stay on until I want them to come off. This kit is great for people just starting to use fake lashes and you really can't beat the price.

Bath & Body Works Fall Mini Candle

Bath & Body Works Fall Mini Candle
Cider Lane
Available at http://www.bathandbodyworks.com or in store
Price: $3.50

I opened my VoxBox and was hit with a delicious and pleasant scent! It smelled like I had bit into a fresh picked apple with hint of caramel and cinnamon, such an amazing combination of scents. I looked down into the box and seen the Bath & Body Works mini candle in the scent Cider Lane, I was so excited and lit it immediately. I was a little disappointed, I could barely smell it within the small room I had it burning in and it had burned out after only burning it 2 times for about maybe 3 hours or less each burn. But that didn't matter much since I knew I could put it on my candle warmer which I prefer to use anyway. Now on the candle warmer this mini candle will last a long time plus when it was on the warmer I could smell the candle pretty much all through the house. All in all I love Bath & Body Works mini candles, they are a great way to test out their fragrances without spending too much to find out you might not like it all that much. Plus these mini candles are just so adorable and great to decorate with.

Influenster Beauty Blogger 2012 VoxBox

Beauty Blogger 2012 VoxBox

So I received my second Voxbox not too long ago. I must say the box's seem to be getting much better. This post is just going to be a quick first impressions of the products and I will review them once I have used them a little more.

Kiss Ever PRO Lashes- This was the product I was most excited about! I have just started really getting into using fake lashes and let me just say I wish I would have started out with a kit like this! It comes with a pair of gorgeous, full and glamorous lashes made of 100% human hair, which grossed me out a little but they look pretty natural. I also love how this comes with glue & the lash applicator.

Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin- I have been dying to try these Spin Pins since they came out and boy was I happy to see them when I opened my box. I have to say these look pretty intimidating and hard to use. The thing that really drew me to this product is that I have very thick hair and bobby pins and hair clips just don't do the job which makes it difficult to do fancy hairstyles. The Spin Pins are suppose to work on all types of hair and really hold your style in place. These also come in different shades to match your hair and blend in with your hair color.

EBOOST Daily Health Booster- This was a product I wasn't so excited about. First thing, I hate anything orange flavor plus things like this usually taste chalky. I have not tried it yet but I will do an update when I do.

Bath and Body Works Mini Candle- YAY! A Bath & Body Works mini candle! I have so many of these candles, they are a great way to test out a scent before you buy the bigger version. They sent me the scent Cider Lane which smells like an apple cider with hints of caramel and cinnamon. It is a very yummy scent, the kind that makes you want to bake a cake or a pie!

NYC INDIVIDUAL EYES- I have never tried any eyeshadows from NYC before but I have tried other items from them and have yet to be let down. I like how they sent us colors that just about everyone could use and love. First thing I was thinking was smoky eye look, but you could also do some more natural looks with the lightest colors. This palette comes with a primer and an illuminator. Would have liked to see a mirror included but for the price this is a great deal!

Not Your Mother’s Smooth Moves Frizz Control Hair Cream- First thing I did when I say this was smell it, I absolutely love hair products that are coconut scented. Coconut is such a fresh and clean scent that is very pleasant to smell through out the day. Anyways this cream is suppose to calm frizz, add shine and straighten hair. I have tried so many products with claims like this that don't work for me but we will see!

NOTE: I received  these products free of charge for thee purpose to test and review. Also Influenster is an Invite-Only site so if you are interested in joining let me know your e-mail and I will send you an invite!

Full Review: Kiss Nail Dress

Kiss Nail Dress (Leopard)

I got the chance to try these out free, I got them in My VoxBox via the website Influenster. Let me just start off by say that these are just a dream! They come come in 18 beautiful designs, I happened to try the leopard ones which I am a huge fan of leopard so it worked out perfect.

When they say these are long lasting they are not kidding! Where I work my nail polish is always chipped after one day, but these lasted two weeks with very little chipping. That could be due to the fact I used a base & top coat. One thing I didn't like was that they peel off, they don't come off with nail polish remover. I found that peeling them off did a little damage to my nails, nothing major but bad enough I wanted to cover it up. Another problem I had was that my nails are so tiny that a lot of these stickers were too wide so I had some of the sticker covering my skin near my cuticle, which isn't cute. I like how it comes with 28 so you can use the extra ones later on since they don't dry out. You could use the extra ones to do just the tip of your nails with the leopard. I love that these are simple and easy to apply. I had so many people asking where i got my nails done, they were surprised to hear I did them myself with these stickers.

Overall, I think these are worth the money and would recommend them. They are beautiful and easy to apply. They last very long and there is very little chipping or peeling. You can get really creative with these too!
