Influenster

I have a website that I have discovered sometime ago that I am excited to share with my fellow beauty lovers. The website is Influenster

Influester is a place to give your honest opinions on products that you have tried out and you can read what others have to say about these products. As you get more involved in the website you will be given chances to receive what they call Voxbox's. They have different themes to these Voxbox's, such as the one I just received was The Beauty Blogger VoxBox. In the VoxBox's are some of the newest and best products that go along with the theme of the box. Now I have not been with them all that long and I have already gotten 2 VoxBox's. Here is what the Beauty Blogger one looked like.

Come and check out Influenster, it's a fun website and has helped my to find some really great new products that I have come to love!

Full Review: Kiss Nail Dress

Kiss Nail Dress (Leopard)

I got the chance to try these out free, I got them in My VoxBox via the website Influenster. Let me just start off by say that these are just a dream! They come come in 18 beautiful designs, I happened to try the leopard ones which I am a huge fan of leopard so it worked out perfect.

When they say these are long lasting they are not kidding! Where I work my nail polish is always chipped after one day, but these lasted two weeks with very little chipping. That could be due to the fact I used a base & top coat. One thing I didn't like was that they peel off, they don't come off with nail polish remover. I found that peeling them off did a little damage to my nails, nothing major but bad enough I wanted to cover it up. Another problem I had was that my nails are so tiny that a lot of these stickers were too wide so I had some of the sticker covering my skin near my cuticle, which isn't cute. I like how it comes with 28 so you can use the extra ones later on since they don't dry out. You could use the extra ones to do just the tip of your nails with the leopard. I love that these are simple and easy to apply. I had so many people asking where i got my nails done, they were surprised to hear I did them myself with these stickers.

Overall, I think these are worth the money and would recommend them. They are beautiful and easy to apply. They last very long and there is very little chipping or peeling. You can get really creative with these too!

Full Review: ROC Multi-Correxon Eye Treatment

ROC Multi-Correxion Eye Treatment

I never used to be much an eye cream person until about a year ago when I noticed my eye area started getting dry, my dark circles were getting worse and started noticing some fine lines. Now I have to say I was pretty upset seeing these fine lines appearing at such a young age of 20! So I was shopping in Walmart for an eye cream for all these problems and the brand ROC just jumped out to me. I have been using this now for about 7 months and have been pleasantly surprised by the results it has given me. Now I went into this thinking that an eye cream won't do much for me certainly not when it comes to my fine lines.
I have to say the packaging of the product is cute and really caught my eye in the store. This has very pleasant fresh scent that is not over powering. Something I really like about this cream is that you only need a little bit of it so this small tube lasts you a long time. I apply this just about every night after washing my face, I admit I do forget to apply it some nights due to being so tired. I apply some in my under eye area and a little bit from my crease to my brow since that area gets dry.

This is what ROC claims on their website that this product will do- "Dark circles and puffiness are noticeably diminished and wrinkles appear visibly smoothed in just eight weeks, revealing newer, younger-looking skin."

I love how good of a job this did with getting rid of the dry skin in my eye area. My make-up goes on a lot smoother and looks better. This cream really smooths yours skin out and makes it nice and soft. ROC claims that this product reduces puffiness but I have not noticed that at all. I have noticed that it helps with dark circles tho. After using this for about a month I started noticing the blueish tone in my under eye area had faded a little. Don't expect this to completely get rid of your dark circles tho, no product can really do that. As for fine lines, I haven't seen much a of change. It has just made them a little less noticeable, but I really don't expect an eye cream to get rid of them. Overall I really like this product and I would buy it again, it has made a difference.

Full Review: Maybelline Baby Lips

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm
I received Maybelline's Baby Lips lip balm from BzzAgent for the purpose of trying and reviewing. Tho I did get the product for free, I will always be truthful about how I feel about a product. If I don't like a product I won't hold back just because it was free.

The packaging is so eye catching and stylish. The colors are fun, and the writing on the cap looks cool. I like that the cap is clear so you can see the color of the balms when browsing in the store. They roll up and down with no problems, which with most lip balms they don't like to roll back down.

I love that you can choose between translucent or tinted lip balms, I use the translucent ones under lipsticks to keep my lips nice and moisturized but be able to add whatever color I want to my lips or just wear it alone to enhance my lips. I own 3 of the tinted ones Peach, Pink Punch and Grape Vine.

Peach has a little bit of tint to it but not much, it gives you that perfect nude lip and it has a little bit of shimmer to it so it catches the light and looks like you are wearing lip gloss.

Pink Punch is the most pigmented one of the 3 that I own. Pink Punch is pretty bright and vibrant, it almost looks to me like it has a blue undertone to it. This probably has to be my favorite one, it looks like you are wearing a lipstick and a gloss but your not and it's so moisturizing which most lipsticks lack.

I went out and bought Grape Vine after using the other 2 for a day because I like purple shades on me. Grape Vine is more of a deeper wine color than the full on purple I was looking for, also this one like the Peach isn't as pigmented as I was expecting since the pink one was so pigmented.

All in all I really love these lip balms and plan on getting the other ones I don't own and will be using them for years to come most likely. These are more moisturizing than just about any lip balm I've tried. The scents of these lip balms are so yummy tho they have a gross taste, which is good since licking your lips drys them out. The colors are beautiful and last about as long as you would expect a lipstick to. If you haven't tried these I really recommend you do so, I have terribly dry lips and no other lip balm has done what these have for my lips, plus the price isn't too bad either.

Full Review: Maybelline Great Lash Lots Of Lashes

Maybelline Great Lash Lots Of Lashes
I received Maybelline's new Great Lash mascara, Lots Of Lashes, from BzzAgent for the purpose of trying and reviewing. Tho I did get the product for free, I will always be truthful about how I feel about a product. If I don't like a product I won't hold back just because it was free.

I have been using this mascara since I got it three weeks ago, to test it thoroughly. I tried it alone, pairing it with other mascaras and different application methods to see how best to apply the mascara. To me the formula in this mascara seems like it's different than the original Great Lash, but I could be wrong. To me tho I feel like this one holds curl way better and the formula drys faster. The formula starts off pretty wet but once it drys it gets really stiff, which I find makes the curl you put in you lashes stay and not droop down later on. I have seen other reviews where people say that flaking is a major problem, but I have only had flaking when I rub my eyes a lot but I expect that and its easy to just wipe off my cheek. I have noticed a lot of people with short lashes don't like this mascara.

On my long lashes this mascara works wonders. It gives the most length that I have ever gotten with any other mascara I have tried. It also at the same time gives volume and the brush really grabs and coats every tiny lash you may have. I have had no trouble at all with clumping, the bristles on this brush separate the lashes beautifully. With the shape of the brush I can actually get my lashes in my inner corner of my eye without them getting all clumpy and them drooping, which has happened with just about every other mascara. Again with the brush shape it is great for getting the bottom lashes, which is where I usually make a mess and get mascara everywhere. One thing tho, do not let this dry in-between coats. When it drys the mascara gets pretty hard and you won't be able to work your brush through them very well and may get some flaking while trying to do so. This mascara is very build-able when wet so there is no need to wait for the first coat to dry before packing on more. This is a great mascara as long as you know how to use it right, give it a try it may become your new favorite as it has become mine.

Full Review: Wet n Wild Natural Blend Lip Shimmer

Wet n Wild Natural Blend Lip Shimmer
Shade: 104 Berry

Price: $1.99
Available At: Local Rite-Aid, CVS, Walgreens

I wanted to try one of these lip shimmers because I just cannot wear many lipsticks due to them drying my lips out, so I wanted to try something that had color but also didn't make my lips look all dry and gross. I am so glad I picked the Wet N Wild lip shimmer, I should of picked a lighter color tho knowing that darker colors don't look that good on me. Surprisingly these lip shimmers are actually very moisturizing, I kinda feel like it does a better job than a good majority of my lip balms, and I own tons of lip balms from many different brands. I love that these are made from natural ingredients too, who really likes to put scary chemicals all over their lips? The packing is just adorable, it has cute little leaves all over it and the cap that shows the color of the product, which the cap is pretty true to color. There so a lot of product in the tube and since it's only $1.99 and sometimes even cheaper if you can find a sale, I would say that this is a great value.

The shade Berry is a deep pinkish color with very fine shimmer in it. I wish I could pull off this color better, because it is seriously a beautiful color! The swatch on my hand in the picture makes it look sheer, but it is very pigmented, it was just the light washing it out a little.

would I recommend this? Yes, just make sure you choose a color that you know compliments you.

Full Review: Avon Ergonomic Rounded Eyeshadow Brush

Avon Ergonomic Rounded Eyeshadow Brush
Price: $2.99
Available At: Avon's Online store or a local representative

This was the first brush I ever bought and have had it for 3 years, it's still in great condition and I use it everyday. The ferrule fell apart a few months ago but I just super glued it and it's back to normal. The handle is a nice glossy black, I think it's plastic not sure tho, but it doesn't feel cheap. The brush is comfortable in my hand and I have great control over it. The bristles on this brush are so soft and are tapered into a dome shape, also there has been very little shedding in the 3 years I have had this brush. This is a great brush for all eye shapes, I have a small eyelid area and this brush comes to a pretty small point at the top so it can really concentrate in a small space, but it also can cover a bigger area easily also. Now what I mainly use this for is adding color to crease and as a blending brush, since I don't have a proper blending brush, and it does the job perfectly. I have to say tho it can be used to do your whole eye look and this is what I used to have to do before I got my other brushes.

Would I recommend this? Yes, this has been my go to brush for years and it has never let me down, plus it's a good price point too. You won't be let down if you buy this brush.
